Course Introduction

Shutdowns and TARs (Turnarounds) are very significant elements of plants’ maintenance strategy and their effective planning and execution is highly demanding activity. This, in fact, is the key to success for enhancing Asset Integrity and ensuring Business Continuity. 

Managing Shutdowns, Turnarounds and Outages is a very useful course for ensuring capacity building and optimizing the Asset Life. It focuses on various procedures, strategies, and internal / external resources that will improve the STO (Shutdown Turnaround Outages) planning and execution. After attending the course, the participants are expected to develop a better understanding of the subject by going through the highly interactive sessions, syndicate workshops and relevant industry case studies.
