Course Introduction

Vibration Analysis – Level 2 builds on Level 1 and focuses on diagnosis, data interpretation, and fault identification for rotating machinery. The course emphasizes practical spectrum analysis, waveform interpretation, and real-world case studies.

Objectives

Day 4: Electrical & Fluid-Induced Faults

  • Motor electrical faults (air gap, broken rotor bars)

  • VFD-related vibration issues

Day 5: Advanced Analysis & Program Development

  • Trending & alarm setting

  • Route-based vs online monitoring

  • Root cause analysis using vibration data
