Course Introduction

    Compressor operation and troubleshooting techniques

Practical Session: Hands-on inspection of pump and compressor components

Day 3: Valves and Gearboxes

    Types of industrial valves: gate, globe, ball, butterfly, and check valves

    Valve operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting

    Gearbox types and applications in mechanical systems

    Lubrication practices for gearboxes

Day 4: Preventive Maintenance and Failure Diagnosis

    Preventive and predictive maintenance strategies

    Condition monitoring techniques (vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography)

    Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for mechanical failures

    Common mechanical equipment faults and solutions

Practical Session: Using condition monitoring tools for failure diagnosis

Day 5: Troubleshooting and Reliability Improvement

    Troubleshooting techniques for mechanical equipment

    Developing maintenance checklists and procedures

    Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) approach

    Improving mechanical equipment performance and efficiency

Practical Session: Final assessment: Diagnosing and resolving mechanical equipment issues

Certification:
