Course Introduction

This 5-day course is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of workplace safety management and the practical skills needed to ensure safety in the workplace. It is tailored for managers, supervisors, and employees who need to be able to assess risks, manage health and safety issues effectively, and understand their roles in fostering a safe working environment.         Hands-on Exercise: Conducting a basic risk assessment for a work scenario.

Day 3: Controlling Risks and Promoting Safe Practices

        Developing and implementing safe systems of work.

        The role of training and supervision in risk control.

        Ensuring the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensuring its maintenance.

 Promoting Safe Work Practices

Day 4: Incident Reporting and Investigation
